It was the beginning of the school year. Days of getting used to new classes, breaking in new shoes, and seeing the oh so familiar faces in the chaotic halls of teenagism.

The days went on, and I was falling into a deeper and deeper...pity party.

I admit, I was a lazy brat, when it came to art. I was doing nothing but whining inside. Until one fateful day.

The first assignment of my Illustration class had more and more days of lateness on it. Pretty soon I broke, I told Mrs. Frederick, "I don't like this assignment." But I knew it wasn't true, it was just a cheap excuse. Mrs. Frederick replied to my pathetic declaration and told me, "I don't like to cook dinner, do I? But I do it anyway, because I have hungry kids at home. They can't help it, they're hungry. And I don't like to grade projects all the time, do I? But it's my job and I have to. And if this is how it's gonna be, you don't do something just because you don't like it, then you can forget about any AP class of ours."

I stood there in awe. I went back to my seat and looked at a blank card, letting her words form a tornado in my--

Ok cut the poetry and prose for a minute. This is freaky shiz, guys.
I was crying and moaning because I didn't have any artsy motivation. Normally I kinda hated Mrs. Frederick just 'cause I found her annoying and not that nice. And so I didn't place her in my mind as a teacher I favor. But then, she comes along and pulls a stunt like this, TOTALLY blows up in my face, COMPLETELY unreasonable. But since then, it was like she freakin knocked something loose in my God forsaken head!! After that I really took interest in her assignments, and I've been drawing stuff on my own too. And I'm even starting to mold my own style away from anime! Don't get me wrong I love anime, but I'm just getting sick of drawing it. Oh, and I noticed how good a teacher Mrs. Frederick really is. I can't explain it, but I've actually started listening to her, and I realized, she really knows her shiz. She's really wise, I'm glad I'm starting to appreciate her more.

SO YEAH I just got done cleaning my room which took me 10 hours to do plus a lil bit the day before XD. But it feels sooooo nice, and I dragged out my eisel that I got from my aunt a long time ago. And I taped a bunch of pictures all over my wall from 's gallery, because I ADORE her art, she is just amazing.

Speaking of cleaning my room, in the process I found a crap load of old drawings from like 2 years ago!! XD I put em all in a special binder, no matter how much I hated it, and so what I'm gonna do is post EVERYTHING right here on dA, and then after that I'm gonna post my new stuff, as kind of a then/now sorta thing. Stuff like this just gets me motivated, so DEAL with it. >XD

Andsoyeah, as mentioned, we're goin to me Homecoming tonight, twill be fuuuuuuuun I'll post some Homecoming pictures on here too, why not ^^.

But yeah, a lot of my new pics are in my sketchbook, but I left it at school over the weekend ;__;.

Uhhhh lessee what else.......so yeah, I got a lotta stuff to catch up, dun I? Eh heh ^o^;;
